I had an older Crown Vic and was looking for a good car for my 16 year old son that was safe and reliable. Hondas nissans and toyotas all are good but you pay alot of money for the name. I have owned American cars and Imports and have had great performance from most of them. The Grand Marquis has a fuel efficient v-8 engine and is safe and comfortable. Also you can buy them for less money with low miles compared with a honda etc, and offers more protection than a honda civic or similar car would give. It corners well and has 4 wheel disc brakes. I bought my 1998 with 48,600 miles in mint condition for $4,050 and is in like new condition inside and the paint is still looks good. This car is good for another 150K miles, made by America's #1 car company Ford. ( not taking any bailout money like the others ). This is a great car for the money! Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

I had a 1992 Crown Victoria that I really like but had over 100,000 miles.I wanted to find another 1992-97 Crown Vic or a Grand Marquis with less than 50,000 miles.Found one here on ebay with 3994 Miles! It still smells new.You can put 200,000 miles on them if you take care of it. I think they best in their class for comfort and reliably. My Crown Vic with over 100,000 miles rode better than my mom's low mileage LeSaber. The only drawback starting in 93 or 94 they put plastic intake on the engines. When the car gets over 100,000 miles the intake can crack needing replacement. The 92 crown vic got 27-29 mpg on the highway at 70mph.The Grand Marquis gets 24-25mpg highway at 70. The interior is big and roomy.Back seat, less leg room with the front seats back.
If you are looking for a big car I would buy a 1992 and newer Crown Victoria or Grand Marquis. I didn't want an ex "cop" car only because the interiors are plain and spartan, front bucket seats,no factory sound system, and poorer gas milage. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

We bought this car because it was so similar to the one we bought 5 years ago, with which we have been very pleased. This car is 5 years and 150,000 miles newer. We live in the country and need miles and comfort. We certainly got both of those with this fine car. The only thing we would have prefered to have, extra, is tinted glass.
Thanks for asking. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
