I( absolutely love my 1988 Mazda 323. The 323 was basically the same from 1986-1989. I love my car so much that I also bought a 2 door and 4 door Mercury Tracer which is a Mazda 323 but rebadged for Mercury. It does come with a lot of features that the 323 did not.. I love all three of my vehicles. I would recommend getting a 5 speed stick. The hydrolic automatic gives rebuilders a hard time. Love the vehicle. Mazda was so much better when it was Japanese not FORD (Fixed Or Repaired Daily) Source: eBay Motors Reviews |

Durability, sporty, very economical to operate and maintain.
Factory comfort could be better, cruise control, seats, tilt wheel steering.
My 323 is a SE model, mostly a basic car.
Paint durability is not so great, and rust is common around the rear quarter panel near the back of the fender rim.
Overall very satisfied with this car. Source: eBay Motors Reviews |
