For those of us who need a minivan, the Kia Sedona has good looks and a smooth ride. Six months and 12000 mile later the car has given us good service and been a pleasure to drive.

Gas mileage does get better after 5000 but at around 20 MPG Kia should still look to improving fuel economy.

Fit and finish is solid with few (if any) squeaks or unusual noises. Seating is comfortable and the dash is well laid out with most things in easy reach. The windshield wiper control did take a while to get used to. Both of the sliding doors have windows that open thus, better ventilation. For hauling the 2nd row seats fold forward and the 3rd row seating folds into the floor. Some of the surprising standard features you wouldn't expect are: Tire Pressure Monitoring System, 5-Speed Automatic Transmission, Multi-Zone Climate Control, Rear Air Conditioning, Intermittent Rear Window Wiper, Anti-Theft Alarm System, Rear Disc Brakes, just to name a few.

Depending on the model the Sedona is $4000 - $7000 less then the Honda Odyssey or Toyota Sienna but don't mistake this for a "cheap" minivan because of the price. Quality is on the mark when compared to Honda & Toyota and Kia's 10 year 100000 warranty can't be beat. The Kia is the safest minivan on the road with traction/stability control and of course enough airbags to make the car float in water. Kia is concerned about quality and customer satisfaction, Kia calls us every few months to get our opinion on the car as well as how the dealership (who does the oil changes) takes care of us during visits. When we compared what you get with the Kia versus the others and we couldn't justify spending more to get less.

I like many others thought cars like Kia and Hyundai were cheaply made cars that catered to a budget conscience market. It's a sad fact that in a few short years these companies along with Toyota and Honda are beating the American cars makers at their own game.

I just LOVE this van! I looked at MANY vans before deciding on the Kia. You just can't beat the over all value of the vehicle! Very roomy & comfy... Looks nice... Good pick up to the engine & great ride!

Good car for the price, very roomy , I used tyo have DODGE CARAVAN1998. This KIA SEDONA has sturdy shock than dodge 1998. Engine is powerful pickup is good.

draw back.. turning radius is so much cannot make U trun anymore. Both sliding doors are very noisy and difficult to open for a kid even i need a lot of force to open them. engine is noisy.
